A female-owned business located in Portland, ME, Modern Chandler strives to ignite comfort, soothe the senses, and accent home decor, all while ensuring our products are non-toxic and all natural.

Here at Modern Chandler you will never find any dyes, additives, or heavy metals in our candles. We use 100% all natural soy wax made from USA grown soybeans. Our fragrance oils are free from carcinogens, reproductive toxins, and other common hazardous chemicals. Each candle is hand poured in small batches and includes a 100% cotton wick to deliver a long-lasting, great-smelling burn. Each scent is hand-selected, based on quality, to create an authentic original fragrance. 

Although hand pouring wax may result in minor cosmetic imperfections, it ensures a unique product that meets our standard of quality. When burning your candle, frosting and imperfections may occur. This is simply visual and does not impact candle performance.
